IDEAL ABIYOGAYA STAGE 10 SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDES IN HABARANA

Ideal Motors successfully concluded the 10th stage of its flagship community engagement initiative, Ideal Abiyogaya, on 22nd May 2026 in Habarana. The event brought together customers, business partners, employees, and members of the local community through a series of impactful activities, including a thrilling Bolero Off Road Rally, a meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, and a grand musical show.

Organized by the Ideal Motors Commercial Vehicle Sales Team under the leadership of Mr. Kausn and coordinated by Business Relationship Manager Mr. Vinoj Dahanayaka, the event reflected the company’s ongoing commitment to strengthening customer relationships while making a positive contribution to the communities it serves.

The event was attended by Ideal Motors Chairman and Founder Mr. Nalin Welgama, Managing Director Ms. Dilani Yatawaka, Director Ms. Nimisha Welgama, members of the management team, Commercial Vehicle Sales and After Sales staff, as well as Mahindra & Mahindra Country Head Mr. Sujeet Jayant.

One of the major highlights of the day was the Bolero Off Road Rally, which attracted Mahindra Bolero owners from the Habarana region and surrounding areas. Participants competed on a specially designed off road track that challenged both driving skill and vehicle performance. The rally drew enthusiastic crowds from nearby villages, creating an exciting atmosphere while showcasing the power, durability, and reliability of the Mahindra Bolero.

As part of the event’s community development initiatives, Ideal Motors conducted a CSR program at Habarana Maha Vidyalaya. The program included a technical awareness and training session for students from the Kekirawa Educational Division. To further support technical education, Ideal Motors donated a Mahindra vehicle engine and a technical tool kit to the school, providing students with valuable hands on learning opportunities and practical exposure to the automotive industry.

The celebrations continued into the evening with one of the largest musical shows held in the Habarana area. Featuring some of Sri Lanka’s most popular artists and musical bands, the event attracted an estimated crowd of 20,000 to 30,000 people. Families, customers, and community members gathered to enjoy an evening of entertainment, creating a vibrant and memorable experience for all attendees.
